Hi Reader
If it would serve you, I have availability this month for a few Marriage Check-Ups.
A Marriage Check-Up is kind of like an annual physical: an opportunity to move beyond all the random relationship advice and examine your actual marriage so you can: name what’s strong, notice what’s strained, and discern what’s needed next before heading into the summer.
Grounded in the Gottman model, we’ll unpack a comprehensive snapshot of:
-
What is good, working well, and needs to be safeguarded?
- Y'all probably have a lot good that you might not be aware of.
-
Where are you not seeing eye-to-eye?
- Y'all likely have 3-5 areas where you see things differently. This is important to acknowledge because it is the source of unresolvable conflict. The key to moving out of gridlock is changing how you relate to what you cannot change in these areas.
-
Where are your relationship accounts overdrawn?
- Y'all probably have a few areas where your relationship feels overdrawn and you need to be intentional about the small regular deposits that accumulate.
-
What is needed for this next season?
- You've been through a lot of life together. What worked well before doesn't work as well now. A few new tools could make all the difference in the year ahead.

đź’ť Costs & Scholarship Assistance
If this feels like the right season to invest in your marriage, I’d be honored to walk with y'all. The 419 Scholarship Fund will cover $200 making your cost $390. Let me know what questions you have—and which time you’d like me to hold.

P.S. Thanks in advance for forwarding this email to a few couples who might be interested.
Could this help?
By repeating a short prayer like: "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner" with each knot, a Prayer Rope helps us to pause and ponder in the midst of whatever is happening. As our body, mind, and heart become still we can: "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (1 Thessalonians 5:17). See what's still in stock in child and adult sizes or 50 Knot.
